Restorative Yin
Yin Yoga is a series of traditional yoga postures done on the floor in a manner in which the muscles are able to relax. Yin yoga is said to enhance the flow of prana in the connective tissues around the hips, thighs, pelvis and lower spine through the practice of long held poses. By drawing the practitioner’s awareness away from the muscles and more deeply into the bones, a deep level of relaxed focus is achieved which prepares the body and the mind for longer meditation practices.

If the core is weak, the abdomen is not doing its work and other parts of the body can be adversely affected. This class will strengthen your abdomen and back with yoga postures that will make you feel strong, steady, centered, and ready to deal with life’s challenges.
