Back to Basics Hatha
New to yoga and looking for a place to start? Or a seasoned yoga practitioner looking to get back to basics? This class is for you! Taught by Jacki Cormier, an extremely knowledgeable Yoga Teacher, with 25+ years of experience, you will be sure to get what you’re looking for from this class.
The term Hatha Yoga refers to the physical practice of the yoga with emphasis on safety and alignment. This is a slower paced class that teaches you how to align your body and work with the breath, offering less flow and easier transitions. Great for beginners, suitable for all ages and bodies. This program is designed to be gentle and relaxing, yet empowering, strengthening and informative.

Baptiste Inspired Flow
Power Yoga is a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. This type of yoga is taught in a heated studio which makes it a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and physical and mental stamina in one session.

Bedtime Bliss
In today’s society, we are always on the go. How often do we take time to rest?
In Bedtime Bliss, we will begin with some gentle poses and stretches, followed by yoga nidra.
Yoga nidra is a practice that everyone can do. All that your body needs to do is lie down on the floor. And even if you can’t lie down on the floor, you can still do this practice seated.
As you lie down, supported in savasana, all you have to do is follow the voice that is guiding you.
Yoga nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation that isn’t found in your average meditation practice. The stages of body scan and breath awareness will be practiced to calm the nervous system, leading to less stress and better health.

Express Flow
Our 40 minute Express Flow Class will be a Vinyasa style class. Expect Sun Salutations, and flowing postures, building heat, strength, balance, and energy flow.

Gentle Flow
Gentle Vinyasa Flow is a slower, more gentle approach to a traditional Vinyasa Flow class. You can expect a class with free flowing asanas, synchronized with breath, with a focus on gentleness, and self care. This class would be a great class for beginners, and seasoned yoga practitioners alike.

HaTha Yoga
The term Hatha Yoga refers to the physical practices of the yoga tradition with emphasis on safety and alignment. This is a slower paced class that teaches you how to align your body and work with the breath, offering less flow and easier transitions. Great for beginners, suitable for all ages and bodies. This program is designed to be gentle and relaxing, yet empowering, strengthening and informative. Learn many of the hatha yoga postures, various breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques, in a comfortable and fun atmosphere. Come and experience for yourself the innumerable health benefits of Yoga.

 

Restorative Yin
Yin Yoga is a series of traditional yoga postures done on the floor in a manner in which the muscles are able to relax. Yin yoga is said to enhance the flow of prana in the connective tissues around the hips, thighs, pelvis and lower spine through the practice of long held poses. By drawing the practitioner’s awareness away from the muscles and more deeply into the bones, a deep level of relaxed focus is achieved which prepares the body and the mind for longer meditation practices.

Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa classes vary, but a common feature is the way poses flow, synchronized with the breath. Expect lots of Sun Salutations which are a big part of flow yoga.This program emphasizes a continuing flow of postures to build heat, strength, balance and energy flow. This is a fun and enjoyable combination of the yoga styles taught at the HaTha Yoga Room. Bring a little good health and joy into your life!

Yoga Core
A strong abdomen and back are essential to a healthy body. When the core is strong, it can alleviate back pain, aid digestion and elimination, and stimulates circulation to the internal organs. If the core is weak, the abdomen is not doing its work and other parts of the body can be adversely affected. This class will strengthen your abdomen and back with yoga postures that will make you feel strong, steady, centered, and ready to deal with life’s challenges.

Yoga Fit
YogaFit is designed to improve the health, performance and mental acuity of individuals interested in improving their level of fitness. Based on the ancient fitness science of Hatha yoga, it blends balance, strength, flexibility and power in a fitness format.
